Akshay Mendiratta is a highly skilled and motivated individual with expertise in software development, computer networks, information security, designing algorithms, and mentoring. Currently working as a Strategy Intern at L&T Corporate IT, he is a graduate of Shiv Nadar University with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science. He is also pursuing a Master of Business Administration from SBM NMIMS, Mumbai, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. Akshay has a wealth of experience in the industry, with 3.95 years of relevant experience under his belt. He has previously worked as a Software Engineer II at Viasat Inc., where he founded a team of engineers as part of the Information Security Development unit in India. He also coordinated with stakeholders to detect network vulnerabilities and auto-remediate using Python. Akshay attained ownership of the development and operations for the PII Compliance tool to monitor GDPR compliance and trained a team of interns during their corporate internship and handled the technical onboarding process. He has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Viasat Inc., where he worked on the development and production of a natural language comprehensible Chatbot. Akshay and his team created a framework on which teams in Viasat could configure their requirements to create a team-specific bot. The project also turned out to be the final year project of his undergraduate studies. Akshay's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Shiv Nadar University and a high school diploma from St. Francis De Sales School in New Delhi. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from SBM NMIMS, Mumbai, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. Akshay's technical skills include software engineering, infrastructure, Python, and Django.
