Akshay Menon is an MSc Sport Management Graduate from Loughborough University with a passion for sports management, digital marketing, neural networks, and smart contracts. He is a Course Representative at Loughborough Students' Union, where he represents the views of students on the course, gives feedback to senior staff, and acts as a liaison between students and staff when it comes to academic matters. He attends Student-Staff Liaison Committee meetings within the school and works collaboratively with fellow reps and staff to resolve issues proactively and swiftly throughout the year. He also celebrates positive changes and keeps students informed of changes and developments. Akshay has 4.02 years of relevant experience, having worked for Deloitte as an Associate Software Engineer and RFA Software Engineer 1. In his roles, he worked on developing a framework to automate and improve the existing flow of onboarding and maintaining clients and client data using Powershell and ExtJs. He also worked on Solvas|Artest™, a tool that automates database-related tasks of other Solvas products by generating SQL scripts and deploying them accordingly. He was responsible for managing a team of volunteers, designing and developing event websites, posters, presentations, and other technical assets for the core D'Vibes team, a Deloitte Advisory specific event organizing team. Akshay has a Master of Science in Sport Management from Loughborough University, a Football Marketing & Management degree from the Sports Business Institute Barcelona, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from VIT University (Chennai Campus). He also has a High School degree in ISC Board- Science from Selaqui International School and a 10th degree in CBSE from Indira National School. His tech stack includes Smart Contract, Software Engineer, Neural Networks, SQL, dotNET, and ASP.NET.
