Akshay Milmile is a problem solver with over 6 years of experience in the field of software engineering. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Jeeves, where he is responsible for developing and implementing cloud-based solutions using modern web technologies. Prior to joining Jeeves, Akshay worked as an IT Analyst at TCS, where he was involved in writing Azure infrastructure as code for an ETL platform, execution plans, and change automation using Terraform and Azure DevOps targeting multiple environments. He also set up monitoring for an Azure-based ETL platform overseeing data transfer in the order of petabytes per week that has enabled the business to better cost optimize resources. Akshay designed and developed a framework/toolchain for deploying MLFlow models using Python and Azure DevOps for automation, which has substantially reduced the overall time to go-live for ML Engineers. He made sure that infrastructure is security compliant as per the client’s requirements and provisioned, managed, and optimized dockerized applications on AKS. Akshay has also worked as a Systems Engineer at TCS, where he developed Express.js middleware for validation, Oauth2 token-based authentication, API Key based request authorization, and error handling. He implemented SSO authentication for React frontend and protected backend REST APIs and socket.io communication using Microsoft Identity Platform and Oauth2.0. He also implemented Azure functions and storage queue for asynchronous processing of uploaded images to create thumbnails and store relevant metadata in elasticsearch for faster queries, filter and aggregations. Akshay holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering. He has hands-on experience in Azure, DevOps, Terraform, ML, ETL, infra, Databricks, AI, Frontend, Backend, Web, CI/CD, Postgres, NodeJS, Python, Javascript, and Elastic Search.
