Akshay Nagpurkar is a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead with over 8 years of experience in developing enterprise software products and database solutions. He is currently working with Paychex as a Software Engineer IV, where he is leading the design and development effort to onboard an organization-wide reporting tool utilized across multiple lines of businesses. Akshay is also responsible for embedding Paychex native security model into the Microstrategy platform. Akshay's most recent achievement is being one of the lead developers on the Paychex Analytics and Reporting platform team for developing ETL solutions, promoting automation and creating business intelligence dashboards enabling clients to make informed decisions. He designed and implemented a reporting platform to generate Paycheck Protect Program (PPP) reports within a short timespan facilitating Paychex clients with procuring loan amounts of USD 65 Billion. This time-sensitive project enabled Paychex to be first in the market and facilitate its client base during the Covid-19 pandemic. Akshay has worked with Paychex for over 11 years, starting as a Developer II and growing to his current position. He has also worked as a Software Engineer III at Paychex in the past. Akshay holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Science and Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from RGPV. Akshay's technical skills include Software Engineering and ETL. He has experience in working on high impact projects with challenging and dynamic stakeholder requirements. In his future endeavors, Akshay is looking for a role in which he can utilize his technical and leadership skills to support the team and have an organization-wide impact.
