Akshay Sharma is an experienced Unity Game Developer with expertise in Game Design, Programming, and 3D Modeling. He is proficient in C#, C++, Python, and C languages. Currently, he is working as a Game Developer at Legends of Learning. Akshay is a final year undergraduate student at BIT Durg, majoring in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He has participated in more than 30+ hackathons and competitions and has a high winning success rate. Apart from being a Unity Student Ambassador, Akshay is also a researcher in the field of Xtended Reality. He has achieved several accomplishments throughout his career, including being the winner of GDSC BITBOX'21 hackathon, BrainStation India Ideathon'21, and BIT Durg Technohub Hackathon'20. He was also a finalist in the Hero Global Apps Challenge and the runner-up in PCCE Game Jam & Creat-a-thon. Akshay secured the 5th rank in National AR-VR Hackathon by iHub IIT Roorkee & TechXR. Akshay has worked as a Research Intern at Ontario Tech University, where he spent his summer in Canada doing a research project titled Robot Assisted Epilepsy Virtual Reality Surgery under the supervision of professors from Ontario Tech University, Canada & University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has also worked as a member of IEEE BIT Durg. Akshay completed his Bachelor of Technology - BTech from Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Durg, in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He also holds a High School Diploma in Computer Science with PCM from St. Vincent Pallotti Senior Secondary School, Bilaspur, Chattisgarh. Akshay has pursued Computer Games and Programming Skills from XAMK - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences. As a Research Scientist, Akshay is proficient in Python and has 0.43 years of relevant experience. He is a hackathon enthusiast and a game development professional with a passion for creating innovative and engaging games.
