Akshay Shenoy is an experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the e-learning and Agtech industry. Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at nurture.farm, he is building tech for the Agriculture ecosystem. Akshay is skilled in Android Application development in Java, Kotlin, and React Native. He has experience working with MVP, MVVM pattern for android apps, and the latest Android technologies, DI, RoomDB, Retrofit, jetpack components, Firebase, etc. He also possesses a good understanding of Data Structure and Algorithms. Akshay has worked on CakePHP, Nodejs for backend implementation, RabbitMQ, AWS Lambda, API gateway. He has a strong understanding of databases such as MySQL, SQLite, NoSQL, and Git, BitBucket, etc. He has a relevant experience of 4.19 years. Akshay's past experience includes working with nurture.farm as SDE-I (Mobile), where he worked on nurture.retail and nurture.trade app using the React Native stack. He worked on nurture.trade app from scratch and added functionalities like FCM, clever tap integration, UI, authentication, and many more. He also worked on the retail app to help build a strong relation between farmers and retailers and implemented payment gateways for smoother payment experience. Akshay has also worked with edureka as Software Engineer - Android. He worked on the official edureka Android app and added video streaming features using exo player, reduced apk size, optimized the performance, etc. He changed the UI of the app to a new neumorphic design to make it more user-friendly and developed new pages on React Native Stack. Akshay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Science/Studies from Canara Engineering College, where he graduated in 2019.
