Akshay V is a tech entrepreneur and founder of EdZola Technologies, a company that provides technology services to non-profits and impact-driven organizations. He believes that using technology the right way can create a greater impact at the grassroots level. Akshay works at the intersection of people, data, processes, and technology, helping organizations create efficient processes for collecting, organizing, managing, and analyzing data. He builds systems that can automate the entire data flow, allowing organizations to focus on creating impact while software and systems take care of the manual work. Akshay's tech stack is heavy on low-code, which he believes is more sustainable in the long run. His flagship expertise is in Zoho Creator and the Zoho Ecosystem. As a Zoho Authorized Partner, he undertakes implementation and customization projects on the Zoho Ecosystem. Akshay's work has been recognized by Teach For India, Yunus and Youth, The /Nudge Foundation, Zoho, and others. Before founding EdZola, Akshay was a fellow at Teach For India, where he taught science, social studies, and English to 150 kids in a government high school in Pulianthope, Chennai. He partnered with around 20 organizations to bring in multiple opportunities for his students in the areas of arts, Olympiads, personal and mental wellbeing, sports, and other extracurricular activities. He also created technology solutions that facilitated assessment, evaluation, and analysis, saving over 150 man-hours of time. Akshay has a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology. He was also a participant in Jagriti Yatra, one of the world's longest entrepreneurship programs on wheels, covering an 8,000 km train journey across India.
