Akshit Gautam is a highly motivated software engineer with 1.9 years of experience in Full Stack development. He is proficient in JavaScript, Python, and C++, with strong problem-solving skills in data structures and algorithms. He completed his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT BHU in May 2021 with a GPA of 8.45/10. Currently, Akshit works as an Associate Software Engineer at ServiceNow, where he is a Full Stack Engineer in ITSM Engineering. He develops both client-side and server-side features using ES6, AngularJS, jQuery, CSS, SASS, and other languages and frameworks. He has worked on multiple products in the ITSM application suite, spanning the entire product development lifecycle from prototyping to maintenance and resolving bugs and live issues. He collaborates with the Business team on new requirements and implementations on the platform and works with DevOps to oversee the deployment of team code to production. In his previous role as an Intern at Visa, Akshit worked on the Global Cybersecurity Challenge. He was part of a team tasked with finding and exploiting vulnerabilities in a given vulnerable website. He gained hands-on experience with Web Application vulnerability detection and exploitation techniques, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting, client-side request forgery, access control bypassing, and other attacks. He also worked on the Global Intern Case Challenge, where he developed an innovative business idea from issuing, acceptance, and technology perspective to drive towards a 'cashless' society. He learned about the Agile framework for team management and introduction to payments ecosystem. Akshit's education background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. He has a relevant experience of 1.86 years and possesses skills in Software Engineering, SQL, Javascript, DevOps, Python, Web, and AngularJS.
