Akshit Kamboj is a skilled Data Scientist and Software Engineer with 1.18 years of experience. He is currently working as a Data Science Intern at alyog engineers and consultants, where he is responsible for handling data related to the manufacturing of various automotive parts. Akshit writes appropriate lines of code to collect and discard data and uses the obtained data to gather insights on sales, understand the contributions made by different automotive parts towards sales, and identify patterns. He has also trained several Machine Learning Models on the obtained data to predict future sales for a given automotive part based on past data. This has helped in producing or maintaining stocks more of those parts which are in greater demand in comparison to others, thus improving the scalability of the overall efficiency of sales, manufacturing, and distribution processes. In the past, Akshit has worked as a Data Science Intern at whatfix, where he worked on building a Course Recommendation Engine. He was responsible for defining the methodology to create a clean dataset from the existing user and course learning history data, as well as training and validating a model. He used a Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) model to implement Multi-Label Classification, which was employed because of its ability to predict multiple class labels for a given sample at the same time. Akshit is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Manipal University, Jaipur. He has also completed his schooling from Suncity School and Gurugram Public School. His technical skills include Data Science, Software Engineering, ML, and Perceptron.
