Prior to founding Cognito, Alain was a Co-Founder of Bloom Protocol, a global decentralized identity management and credit scoring system that leverages blockchain technology. He also worked as a Research Scientist at the Stanford Bitcoin Group, where he focused on Bitcoin research and applications. Alain's mission at the Stanford Bitcoin Group was to make Bitcoin understandable and easily accessible for people around the world and of all levels of knowledge. He has worked on everything from open source local bitcoin exchanges to blockchain analysis to facilitate fraud prevention.
