CS155 - Computer and Network Security. As a TA, I taught concepts such as control flow hijacking, web security, and network security. My responsibilities involved holding 4 hours of office hours per week, and grading homework assignments and the final exam.

CS103 - Mathematical Foundations of Computing. As a TA, I held 4 hours of office hours per week, helping students understand concepts such as proofwriting, first order logic, finite automata, and Turing machines. Additionally, I helped to grade weekly problem sets and three exams.

As an intern on the Pricing team, I worked on a variety of projects in Go relating to vehicle pricing and data gathering for use in Shift's pricing algorithm. My main project involved syncing Shift's vehicle repair data from a service called Shop-Ware onto Shift's own servers, allowing the data to be queried and analyzed by our business and growth team. I also worked on other high-impact tasks - for example, calculating prices for our entire vehicle inventory on a nightly basis, letting us follow current market trends.

As an intern on the Pay team, I worked on integrating new types of payments, such as Bitcoin and Apple Pay. I also worked on various improvements on the API's backend, such as moving non API-related code from the main codebase onto Serverless.

I worked on a neural network in the realm of object detection in Google's Street View, which involved exploring different methods of accurately labeling training data, generating training data at scale, then experimenting with hyperparameters to train the network.

As an intern on the Content Platform team, I worked on a program to detect improper video formatting (black matte bars or interlaced frames), which involved creating a new ffmpeg filter, in order to automate a process previously performed by humans.
