Alex Faktorovich is a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer currently working at Rightpoint. With over 20 years of experience in the software engineering industry, Alex has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various areas of software development. Prior to joining Rightpoint, Alex worked at Raizlabs (now Rightpoint) as a Senior Software Developer. During his time at Raizlabs, Alex was responsible for developing software applications and managing teams of developers. Alex also has experience working at Google as a Software Engineer. While at Google, Alex was a feature owner for Hotels on Google Maps on Android. He built and launched features reaching 50 million users, increased yearly revenue by 120%, and launched and landed numerous high impact features, taking them from conceptualization, and implementation, to user rollout and post rollout impact metric assessment. Alex has also worked on Google Maps for desktop, created a prototype for the POIs Nearby widget, and created a front-end for the Activities Nearby module prototype in Google’s Hotel Finder in GWT. He developed an embeddable Google Reviews Widget built with Maps API in Javascript, which launched globally across numerous Google properties. Additionally, Alex supported Cape Air PSS (Passenger Services System) launch and production operations and participated in Product Sprints working closely with the product team to invent product features. Alex's education history includes attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1998 to 2000.
