Alex Lindeman is a seasoned computer system administrator with nearly 20 years of I.T. experience, specializing in electronics design, client relations, technical consulting, and network administration. He is currently employed as a Network Administrator at Powell, where he is responsible for the daily operations of corporate and divisional systems such as backups, AD, VMware, endpoint security, and endpoint OS deployments. Alex has extensive knowledge of Windows server and desktop operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office. He also has general knowledge of Linux and Cisco iOS. He is committed to efficiently supporting and maintaining crucial information systems for optimal business performance and investigating innovative technology to improve processes. In his previous role as a Senior Technical Administrator at Powell, Alex supported day-to-day IT operations for all divisions of the company. He installed, configured, and managed several enterprise software suites on 300+ servers combining over 40 different technologies. He provided technical support for end-users as well as department analysts and developers on projects and business systems for domestic and international divisions. He also maintained site and corporate backups using Backup Exec and performed any requested audit or data restore as needed. He was also the administrator of 100 extension Avaya VoIP IP-Office phone system with integrated voicemail. Alex has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Biology and Computer Science from Mount Union College and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer Science from Stark State College of Technology. He has 14.96 years of relevant experience and is proficient in iOS and Web technologies.
