Managed a highly talented engineers to develop FireEye NextGen detection engine.

* Designed and successfully demonstrated a cloud solution for security as a service (SAAS) employing different opensource technologies for distributed database, health management, peer-to-peer routing and so on.
* Designed NextGen (next generation) FireEye analysis engine involving multiple patents: on both databases and detection technologies resulting in remarkable increase of detection plus performance/scalability. New design for all backend processes ( C/C++, Java, Python).

•	Cross component system level debugging. Found and fixed numerous race condition in the existing communication protocol.  
•	Supported Display Server component – a multithreaded C++ component responsible for all the communication to the eInk display. Added various new features such as new pen calibration, Fast Page flipping, etc. Responsible for new design architecture to simplify the overall solution.

•	Supported mojodb WebOS component – a multithreaded C++ interface to BerkeleyDB. Various bug fixes as well as new features.

•	Architected core functionality to analyze proximity effects on transistor level. This tool tied together various effects including mechanical stress and lithography to electrical parameters. 
•	Collaborate with other teams within Synopsys to integrate existing solution into multiple products.
•	Integrated Python frontend and C++ core to provide user an interface to describe transistor behavior. In the result by specifying equations in Python user can greatly reduce time for new model development.

GUI support for PrimeTime and Physical Compiler
•	Designed multiple Qt-based GUI interfaces to support core functionality such as signal integrity and noise analysis (PrimeTime), advanced fly line analysis for Macro placement, quick placement prototype, etc.
•	Developed and implemented inter-process communication based on sockets between PrimeTime and Physical Compiler to simplify design debugging.
•	Led ClearCase->Perforce GUI code migration.

•	Developed a regression system to monitor tools performance.
•	Provided a solution for clock tree synthesis and global routing parts of the flow.

•	Developed detailed local routing engine. It was part of GUI interface for manual editing.   
•	Designed multiple solutions to investigate and solve global routing problems such as resources management, critical timing paths, congestion map analysis.

Developed and implemented various place&route projects including port placement, local area route editor etc.
