Alex Saunders is a seasoned entrepreneur and business strategist with over 11 years of experience in the field. Currently, he is the Head of Acceler8 by BE, a start-up accelerator program based in Bath, UK. As the Accelerator, Programme Director, and Co-Founder, Alex is responsible for leading the team in identifying and supporting high-potential, high-growth ideas from the University of Bath. Alex's entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of AMS Online LTD, where he leveraged modern marketing initiatives like social media and other advertising platforms to market consumer goods to the US and EU market. He successfully operated two brands, which have grown exponentially with over 100,000 followers, thanks to his Instagram influencer contacts. Alex handled all aspects of the business, from website creation and branding to digital and email marketing, customer and supplier interactions, acquisition, bookkeeping, and other day-to-day tasks. Before his current role, Alex worked as a Global Markets Analyst at Bank of America. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Economics from the University of Bath and completed his secondary education at Gordon's School. Alex's expertise and experience in start-up acceleration, marketing, and business strategy have earned him the trust and support of senior executives from reputed firms, VC funds, and accelerator programs like SETSquared, TechStars, Downing, Lazard, Santander, Kickstart UK, and Accelerate ME.
