Alexander Fadeev is a highly skilled Security Lead with over 13 years of experience in software development, secure architecture, hardening, and application security. He has a strong background in low-level systems development, having worked with C, embedded software, middleware, drivers, linkers, and more. Alexander has also designed, hacked, and led teams of up to 12 people, creating new products such as devices, middleware, IoT, RESTful, mobile apps, and secure protocols, which have been successfully commercialized. Alexander is proficient in several programming languages, including C, Rust, shell script (bash), Makefile, Python, Java, C#, PHP, C++, Assemblers, Haskell, and JavaScript. He is also familiar with Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, and Golang. Currently, Alexander is working remotely for a USA-based company called Aura as a Security Lead, where he is responsible for pushing application security and security operations. He is leading a team of cybersecurity professionals in the domains of security architecture, application security, security operations, compliance, and security software development. Alexander is also carrying out security assessment and design audit of microservice applications, mobile applications (iOS, Android), network protocols, Linux and Windows applications, and others. Prior to Aura, Alexander worked at Samsung Electronics as a Tech Lead in Mobile Security Lab, where he created Android/Linux security hardening for Galaxy phones and tablets, developed a cross-project SDK to improve the life of mobile security projects, and led a supplementary project called Secure Storage. He also commercialized a new security hardening from scratch, leading his team of 10-12 engineers. Alexander holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from National Mining University, Dnipropetrovsk. He has experience in e-banking security, IoT (home intelligence), and multi-project leading. He strives to support people in their ideas and believes that little ideas can grow into successful products. Alexander has excellent communication skills and works closely with product teams, DevOps, and executives to provide recommendations and feature requests.
