Alexander Yukhanov is a highly experienced Senior Software Development Engineer, currently working at Google. With over 16 years of relevant experience, he has worked in various roles and responsibilities in different companies. Before joining Google, Alexander worked as a Principal Software Engineer, Backend at Grab, a leading ride-hailing and mobile payments app in Southeast Asia. At Grab, he was responsible for developing and implementing backend solutions to improve transportation, payments, and logistics across the region. He also worked on pioneering new commuting alternatives for drivers and passengers with an emphasis on speed, safety, and reliability. Prior to Grab, Alexander worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, where he built the Azure Batch AI service. He was responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions for the service, which helped customers to easily train and deploy machine learning models at scale. Alexander holds a PhD in Physics and Mathematics from Rostov State University and a Master's Degree in Engineering and Technology from Taganrog State University. His educational background is in Radioengineering, which has helped him to develop a strong foundation in software engineering, backend development, mobile development, and AI.
