Alexandru Grigoras is a Full Stack Engineer at Dropbox with a passion for building impeccable products. He is currently working on the Coordination Ecosystem team, where he is responsible for developing smart workspace integrations. Prior to joining Dropbox, Alexandru worked as a Frontend Engineer on the Uber for Business team, where he developed highly-scalable Node.JS microservices and React/Redux web applications. He also interned on Uber's Customer Obsession team as a Back-end Engineer specializing in Go, where he built the backbone of the customer support's machine learning-based prediction and automatic ticket resolution system. Alexandru earned his BS in Computer Science from New York University Shanghai, where he also majored in Interactive Media Arts and minored in Social Science. During his time at NYU Shanghai, he launched a mobile application startup, developed a virtual assistant using NLP and accessibility services, and organized the largest college hackathon in China two years in a row. Alexandru is a versatile engineer with experience in both front-end and back-end development. He has a strong command of technologies such as Javascript, Redux, NodeJS, NLP, ML, microservices, mobile, web, test, Jenkins, integration, Android, and AI. He has a track record of optimizing development processes, launching sensitive features, and reducing the number of failed E2E tests.
