Alicia Gansley is an experienced Engineering Manager at Chainalysis, a company that aims to build trust in blockchains. With over 7 years of relevant experience in software engineering, Alicia believes in high trust and autonomy for engineers, and that engineering is a core input to the product development and iteration process alongside product and design partners. At Chainalysis, Alicia leads a team that practices kanban prioritization, pair programming, regular retros, constant learning about tech, crypto, and their business, and lots of cross-functional brainstorming. Their goal is to always have folks working on something a bit harder than what they've done before and with clear impact. Prior to her current role, Alicia worked as a Senior Software Engineer at both Chainalysis and SeatGeek. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Economics and a Civic Engagement Certificate, from Wesleyan University, where she graduated in 2015. Alicia's technical skills include Software Engineering and Senior Software Engineering. She is passionate about building trust in blockchain technology and is excited to be part of a team that shares this passion.
