Alif Noushad is a self-taught User Experience Designer with a passion for creative problem solving. She has a keen eye for observation and reflection, which she uses to develop multiple design thinking assets with research outputs. Alif is skilled in conducting usability research, gathering insights, and reflecting this in wireframing and prototyping journeys. She utilizes multiple design and prototyping techniques and strongly follows UX principles and standard methodologies, including information architecture, user flow diagrams, and high fidelity interactive prototypes in her process. Alif's tool kit includes Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, InVision, and many more. Prior to joining IBM, she worked as a database developer for around two years, making her knowledgeable in understanding and working closely with developers. She proactively participates in design sprints and is a valuable asset in design thinking sessions, ensuring participants remain grounded in user centricity by putting key research insights into context. Alif's skills and interests include User Research, Interaction Design, Prototyping, Storyboarding, Usability Testing, UX Research, User-centered Design, and Information Architecture. She is proficient in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Currently, Alif is working as a User Experience Designer at IBM iX, where she initiates the digital reinvention of clients' businesses by understanding the problem through research and designing creative solutions. She undergoes user research with potential user groups to create personas, understanding their needs, wants, and pain points. Alif facilitates Design thinking workshops to gather big and small ideas from the team, clients, and users. She keeps the team aligned and always connected with playback sessions. Alif designs journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and other design outputs as required by different projects. She also designs high fidelity prototypes of products as needed in Figma/ Adobe XD/ Sketch. Alif coordinates with the development team to meet technical feasibility. Alif has 4.18 years of relevant experience and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Model Engineering College, where she graduated in 2018.
