Alka Tayal is a seasoned Business Analyst with over 9 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently working with Seclore as a Business Analyst, Alka has a proven track record of working on successful releases of 15+ major versions of the flagship proprietary IT product “FileSecure”. She has served several corporate clients in India and abroad, across sectors such as fin services, aviation, and pharma. Alka has acquired a detailed understanding of products and has worked on multiple IT projects for a diverse client base for product delivery and testing. She has analyzed requirements and functional specifications and documented test cases by identifying various scenarios including exception cases. Alka has executed test cases for modules of the solution as part of ‘System Testing’, 'Functional Testing' ‘Integration Testing’ and ‘Regression Testing’. She has also worked across various platforms for product release: Web, Mobile (iOS & Android), PC, etc. Before joining Seclore, Alka worked with NIIT as a Software Test Engineer, where she worked across multiple sectors, with clients in travel & tourism, general insurance, and consumer goods. She played a key role in the testing and automation of the World Tracer application, designed to run on mainframes, internet, and mobile. Alka has also provided development, enhancement, and testing services for deployment of an insurance product “Subscribe”, to ~50 UK based insurance firms. Alka holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Welingkar Institute of Management, a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Panjab University, and a Bachelor of Computer Science and Applications from Government College for Girls, Chandigarh. She also completed her SSC in Science (PCM) from Holy Angels Convent School. Alka's technical skills include test, Web, qa, Mobile, Android, iOS, Integration, and SDET. She is a quick learner, an excellent team player, and has a passion for delivering high-quality work.
