Alok Arora is a Managing Director at Serrala, a global leader in Recovery Audit and Spend Analytics services industry, where he brings clarity to complexity. With over 18 years of experience, he is a leader in incubating and scaling Global In-House Centers. Alok is a meticulous Operations Head with a laser focus on metrics, process improvement, and optimization for continuous cost reduction. He is also a talent advocate with the ability to attract, nurture, and retain in-demand niche talent at all levels. Alok has founded PRGX’s India Delivery Center in 2010 and managed all aspects of the setup process, including regulatory, contracts, policies and procedures, recruitment, real estate, facilities, and IT setup. He pioneered the delivery model for the Recovery Audit industry in India and today, the Delivery Center supports on-time, on-budget, quality delivery for 78% of the global client base with the lowest cost-to-serve in the industry. Alok has also incubated PRGX’s Technology India delivery center, which is now the R&D hub for the global company and delivers mission-critical projects. He has expanded the scope of service delivery from India to new business lines, enabling the group companies to focus on marketing and sales operations. Alok has managed complex government negotiations with state and federal agencies in India and educated internal legal, tax, finance, HR, facilities, and infrastructure departments on the nuances of operating in India. Prior to Serrala, Alok was the Head of R&D, India at Acquia, a leading digital experience platform provider. He was responsible for providing leadership for the R&D function and founded the India R&D CoE strategy. Alok scaled the team from 2 to 150 over a two-year period, comprising of Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Architecture, and DevOps teams. He also built a highly engaged and motivated team with a high-performance culture. Alok holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM and a BE in Electronics from Army Institute of Technology.
