Alok S. is an experienced Backend Engineer with a passion for programming and problem solving. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Alok has a deep understanding of the full software development life-cycle, including architecting scalable platforms, object-oriented programming, database design, and agile methodologies. Alok has a strong background in using Web Services and API’s in Python, Golang, and JavaScript, and is experienced in using Design Patterns such as MVC and frameworks such as Django and Flask. Alok is also well-versed in Application Development and Object-Oriented Programming Analysis and Design (OOAD), and has a deep understanding of HTTP methods and RESTful architecture. Alok has worked with AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud platform and is familiar with UNIX/Linux internals. He strongly follows PEP-8 coding standard and test a program by running it across test cases to ensure validity and effectiveness of code using PyChecker and PyLint. Currently working as a Senior Backend Engineer at Delivery Hero, Alok has previously worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at Level AI and Ridecell. Alok holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Army Institute of Technology, University of Pune.
