He is currently the Senior Technical Lead at Citigroup in Singapore, where he is responsible for project coordination, architecture design, and maintenance of two main systems. Alok has successfully played a variety of senior roles, such as Manager Software Development, Architect, and team lead, and has built highly productive teams of over 30 talented software engineers. Alok's core competencies lie in his adaptability and enthusiasm regarding product development, acquiring new skills, and solving complex business problems using technology. He is an expert in Java and J2EE, SDLC, RUP, XP, and SCRUM, and various frameworks like Hibernate, Spring MVC, JQuery, Struts, Spring, JUnit, Websphere portal server, and tools like MS Project, Eclipse, Clearcase, and Git. He is also a certified SCEA (Sun Certified Enterprise Architect) and PMP (Project Management Professional by PMI). Alok has extensive experience implementing large-scale solutions and has worked internationally in the USA, Singapore, and India. He is a co-founder of ioo labs, a new-age technology company with a sharp focus on design-led application development, product-based thinking, analytics-based solutions, and enabling interoperability of diverse and heterogeneous systems and platforms.
