Aloshree C. is an experienced Remote Sensing and GIS professional with over 8 years of experience in analyzing geo-informatics data and proposing solutions to optimize the solution based on a problem statement. Currently, she is working as a Remote Sensing Scientist at Grow Indigo, where she is responsible for analyzing crop data and building crop models using SAR data and validating the same with GT data. She is also handling end-to-end database management. In her previous role at NRSC/ISRO, Aloshree analyzed surface water bodies across India using multiple sensors by designing an algorithm and presenting them to various service sectors for usage as per their requirement. She has also worked with SAR data for extraction of surface water bodies and in the agriculture domain. She developed algorithms to identify Direct Seeded Rice and Transplanted Rice using both optical and SAR data. Aloshree has worked on various projects related to railway gauge conversion, river modeling, and geo-referencing using Datum and UTM. She has experience in software tools such as Erdas Imagine, ENVI, SNAP, BRAT, ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and GEE. She has also completed certification courses in AutoCAD, Revit, and STAADPRO. Aloshree is a team player with excellent communication skills, which have been developed from her childhood association with Bharat Scouts and Guides. She has been awarded Rashtrapati and Rajya Puraskar for the same. Aloshree holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Water Resources Engineering from Andhra University, an M.Tech degree in Remote Sensing & GIS from SRM University, and a B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from SRM University. She has relevant experience of 2.35 years as a Research Scientist and Software Engineer.
