Alpesh Patil is an Associate Product Engineer at Aditya Birla Group - GDNA with a passion for quantitative analysis and a strong inclination towards data analysis. He has a keen interest in helping people and has worked on projects for clients from various industries such as FMCG, Telecom, and Finance, to name a few. Alpesh's previous tenure at Hansa Research gave him a deep understanding of the importance of networking with the right teams, asking the right questions to the right individuals, and tailoring data according to clients' needs. He believes that the excitement lies in the process, not in the output. To gain a better understanding of the industry, Alpesh enrolled in a program created by Purdue University and IBM, hosted by SimpliLearn. The program provided him with a solid foundation in R & Python, data science, machine learning, and NLP. He has also worked on Tableau and PowerBI, which are the backbone of data visualization tools. Alpesh's core competencies include problem-solving, data visualization, insight generation, process innovation, workflow optimization, design of experiments, advanced statistics, and statistical analysis. He is skilled in MS Excel, programming languages such as Python, R, and C++, and scripting languages such as MySQL, SQLite, and PostgreSQL. He is well-versed in data analytics, machine learning, deep learning, mathematics, and statistics. Alpesh's presentation skills are exceptional, and he is proficient in Tableau and Amazon QuickSight. He is also experienced in version control using GitHub and Datalore and cloud computing using AWS (EC2, Athena, Redshift, Glue). Alpesh holds a post-graduate program in Data Science & ML from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from SIES College. With 1.52 years of relevant experience, Alpesh is a software engineer, research scientist, data scientist, and an expert in AWS, deep learning, NLP, and Amazon Athena.
