Altamash Ahmad is a Senior Automation and DevOps SME with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field of software development. He is an expert in building end-to-end solutions from scratch and has a deep passion for product development. Altamash has excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Git, and is currently getting hands-on experience on AWS and Azure platforms. Altamash has developed numerous solutions over the last few years, and some of them have been rated very highly. These include an API automation framework that is a no-code solution built on Python with an excel file as an interface. It has a learning curve of less than 30 minutes and can increase API testing throughput by at least 50%. He has also developed an automated device lab that is a complete alternative for expensive cloud-based device labs and supports both on-prem and cloud nodes. Additionally, Altamash has developed a device management system that enables testers to reserve, release, and log on to on-prem desktops in the office to access integration points like network devices installed in the office. Altamash has also developed no-code test automation frameworks for mobile testing, web-based testing, chatbot testing, and database testing. He has also developed a simulation tool that is a telecom diameter protocol-based tool for testing voice, SMS, and data with zero infra setup needed. This tool has helped organizations save heavily on man-hours and financial costs. Currently, Altamash is working as a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps, Automation Frameworks, Tools Development) at Tech Mahindra. He has developed critical solutions, including an on-premise device farm for automated remote testing of web and mobile apps with DevOps concepts and Rest APIs as integration points. Altamash has also built and managed DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Python scripts. Altamash has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from KIIT University, and he completed his HSC from Delhi Public School, Ranchi. He completed his SSC from Dalmia Vidya Mandir, Rajgangpur.
