Amal Makwana is an experienced Vice President at Citi with over 16 years of experience in the finance industry. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). Currently, she holds the position of Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Development Lead at Citi. Her primary responsibilities include project delivery, exchange liaison, analyzing and documenting changes from exchanges and businesses, scheduling changes with the development team, tracking project timelines, scope and costs, and vendor management. She is also responsible for program management and has set up and managed the PMO office in India delivery center. Additionally, she is a DMM (Development Maturity Model) facilitator and manages the roadmap for products in the portfolio. Amal also handles program level financial management, audit assurance, and SDLC compliance. Prior to joining Citi, Amal worked at Barclays as a Business Analyst and Project Manager, where she managed end-to-end project management, created and tracked project plans and budgets, ensured process compliance and governance, and managed vendor relationships. She also worked at DSP Group as a Business Analyst, where she performed gap analysis between new and old order processing systems, was responsible for user interaction and requirements gathering, and acted as a single point of contact for interacting with the Singapore team. Amal holds an MBA in Systems from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) and a BE in Computers from Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS). She also has a background in Science from St. Pauls. Amal has a strong tech stack and is skilled in test management, project management, and program management.
