Aman Agarwal is a highly enthusiastic software engineer who enjoys working on complex problems and designing solutions for them. He is always looking to learn new technologies and never wants to remain in his comfort zone. Aman has a quality to learn new tech stacks quickly and take ownership of features. He mainly works on the backend and is always looking for opportunities to develop his skills as a backend developer. He is currently working as a Software Development Engineer 1 at Expedia, where he is responsible for handling all the booking-related activities in the Reservation team. He is also working on the migration of logs, dashboards, reports, and alerts from one Splunk server to another Splunk server. Additionally, he is working on the migration of databases from SQL server to Aurora Postgres and redefining all the APIs for the system. Previously, Aman has worked as an SDE Intern (Backend) at Hopscotch, where he worked on the company's CRM to add more validation when living the product. He also built REST APIs for the Merch Intelligence Platform and worked on a dashboard for managing product subtypes and tagging them automatically with product ID. Moreover, he worked on suppressing production issues and inserting data in batches. He has also worked on the integration of Hopscotch as a marketplace with Unicommerce and migrated all jobs (J2EE) to SpringBoot microservices. Aman has also worked as a Stream Head in Data Structures and Algorithms at Internity Foundation, where he organized various sessions on DSA to train the interns. Aman holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Panjab University, and he has also studied for the IIT JEE at Bansal Classes, Agra Study Centre. He completed his 12th from St. Paul's Inter College, where he studied Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. He completed his education from St. Paul's High School and Maharaja Agrsen Bal Mandir.
