Aman Agarwal is a Software Engineer II at Walmart Global Tech India with a passion for technology and a track record of mentoring, speaking, and consulting in the field. He has a strong background in Distributed Systems, Python, Hadoop, Spark, Backend Systems, and Scalability. Aman has also worked as a technical consultant for startups, advising them on Blockchain, Big Data, and Scalability. He has been invited to speak at webinars and forums, showcasing his expertise in the field. Aman's passion for technology started after his freshman year of college when he attended a Bootcamp. He then went on to freelance and formed a team of three friends, working on larger projects. In India, their first client project as a group was a car servicing app. Aman's interest in Blockchain led him to work on an idea to build a decentralized EC2 and S3 framework over a blockchain network, finishing second at Walmart Hack- HINT (IIIT Allahabad). Aman is also a mentor for Distributed systems and Scalability at Codeasylums, where he learned about Machine Learning. He started building a prototype for his GIG Bix Idea in his third year, which was successful but had to be put on hold due to Covid-19. Following that, he worked at Codeasylums to create their LMS framework and a Hackathon platform, helping them with community and product development. Aman has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Walmart Global Tech India, where he gained experience in Informatica, Looker, Hive, SQL, Spark, Dremio, Automic, Chronoton, and BaaS. He has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern - Recursion Node at Codeasylums, developing an LMS Platform for the edu-tech startup using Flask as Backend and HTML, CSS, JavaScript as frontend. The platform is being used by around 500 students on a daily basis. He has also worked on a challenge platform and contributed as a mentor for Python and Big Data. Aman holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and a Bachelor of Technology in Petroleum Engineering from Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy. He completed his 11th-12th from Padmawati Academy and 6th-10th from Gandhi Nagar Public School.
