Aman Ashish is a final year undergraduate at IIT BHU with a deep interest in the domain of software engineering. He has previously interned as a Software Engineer at Cisco, Thoughtspot, and a few early-stage startups. Aman is also a Candidate Master (1935) rated competitive programmer, and his team qualified for the regionals of ICPC'20. Currently, Aman is working as a Software Engineer Intern at Thoughtspot, where he has enhanced a Java framework that compares the query execution parameters on industry-standard CDWs like Snowflake, Google Big Query to Thoughtspot's in-house data warehouse, Falcon. He has also written a Python script to automate the entire process of migrating data and query set from Falcon to external CDWs for performance comparison. Additionally, Aman created a Jenkins pipeline that ran the project on a weekly frequency for performance analysis of CDWs and plotted a line graph for visual comparison. His exposure includes Multithreading, Java, Python, Data Warehouse, and OOPS. In his past roles, Aman has developed a Python library that parses unstructured output from Cisco's XR devices into structured nested dictionaries in Python. He has also parsed output for various commands using Text Template Parser, which helped to automate the entire troubleshooting process. Aman has also worked as a Technical Content Curator at HackerRank, where he created several coding problems based on Data Structures and Algorithms used for OA of various organizations. Aman has a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, and has relevant experience of 1.28 years.
