Aman Gupta is an experienced engineer with a strong background in software development and system design. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, Aman has delivered impactful projects with end-to-end ownership. His day-to-day work involves system design, coding, code reviews, mentoring peers, and operations. Prior to his current role, Aman worked as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, where he was part of the AWS DynamoDB team. He played a key role in making Global Secondary Indexes infinitely scalable by embracing time stamps to achieve the scale. Aman also worked in the design phase of this new architecture and filed a patent for the novel architecture. As part of his day-to-day job, he was responsible for end-to-end ownership of design, development, code reviews, testing, and operations. Apart from software-related work, Aman also mentored peers and juniors within the organization and across Amazon. He was also part of the Advertisement organization for Amazon's Sponsored Ads team, where he gathered requirements from Product Managers and Project Managers to deliver results for customers and stakeholders. Aman was also a founding engineer at Vagupu, where he built the product from scratch. He worked as a Full Stack Developer (Backend Oriented) and gained strong skills in NodeJS, ExpressJS, Redis, Postgres, AngularJS, JavaScript, WebRTC, and Git. He also has knowledge in Java, Python, Gulp, Machine Learning, AWS, Nginx, and Tensor Flow. Aman holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
