Aman Gupta is an Engineering Leader with more than 12 years of experience in building scalable and robust enterprise applications from scratch. He has a deep understanding of software design, algorithms, and data structures for developing complex systems. Aman is motivated to solve customer problems and is an early adopter of new technologies based on impact analysis. Currently, Aman is working as an Engineering Manager at Omuni, leading a team of 22+ engineers to design and develop an Omuni-Retail platform with a customer-focused mindset. In his previous role as a Lead Software Engineer at Cerner, he effectively designed the microservices architecture for toolkits and implemented the code with quality using tools like Sonar and following TDD methodology. Aman also set up the project environment from scratch along with a CI/CD pipeline to deploy on Pivotal Cloud Foundry using TeamCity and integrated it with Consul for dynamic environment properties. He improved rest API's performance by decreasing 60% average response time (~500ms to ~200ms) implementing caching using Pivotal Cloud Cache. He created a framework for integration testing using Rest Assured, TestNG, Javers, and implemented a SOAP-based proxy SMS gateway for making end-to-end testing feasible for the third party. Aman also integrated O-Auth (Ping Identity) with Spring boot. Aman holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Science and Engineering from Sapthagiri College of Engineering, Bangalore.
