Aman Jain is a talented software engineer with over 5 years of experience. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Woven Planet Holdings, Aman has previously worked at Mercari as a Search Engineer, where he developed large-scale microservices for various search features using Golang. He was responsible for creating algorithms for query autocomplete, related query suggestion, and query classification that were updated daily. Additionally, he developed an ETL data pipeline to index data to Elasticsearch from Pub/Sub stream and Bigtable, which he managed using Cloud composer. He also managed the search platform and provided Elasticsearch as a service. Aman has also worked as a Google Summer of Code Mentor and Student at Google. He mentored a GSoC'19 project on License Compliance called Atarashi, which provided new/improved methods for scanning for license statements in open source software and generated an SPDX file and other copyright files. He applied different information retrieval, NLP (Natural Language Processing) Algorithm, N-Gram Matching, KL-Divergence, TF-IDF, TW-IDF. Aman completed his Bachelor's degree in Production and Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2018. He also completed his twelfth standard from Delhi Public School in 2012.
