Aman Mathur is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working with Google as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. Aman has a strong background in software development, with expertise in Django, Microservices, Backend, Java, and Python. Prior to joining Google, Aman worked with Upgrad as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, he was responsible for creating the back-end in Django for the Grading Admin Panel for assignment of evaluations to external graders. He also designed and implemented an in-house microservice for plagiarism detection between student submissions. Additionally, Aman added features to the Java-based Grading Service to enrich Scorecard, support deferral and credits for courses. He also created an open-source Django Event Logger to log object updates in the database with configurable meta data. Aman has also worked with 1mg as a Software Engineer. Here, he enhanced the in-house open-source Python Microservices framework and created features to increase reliability, fault-tolerance, logging, and improve inter-service communication. He was responsible for discovering and debugging any issues arising on the Production server and automated tasks by creating dashboards and chat-bots based on centralized logging data to send alerts for exceptions, latency spikes, and scraping. Aman also implemented data pipeline for webserver logs to present a timeline view of user interaction with different functionalities and top trending entities. He coded a business intelligence chat-bot which answers queries and visualizes key performance metrics. Aman holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
