Aman Pandey is an experienced Engineering Manager at PayPal, with a focus on all things Javascript. He discovered his passion for programming while studying at Army School, and went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College in Mumbai. During his college years, Aman cultivated his interest in web technologies and developed his skills in both frontend and backend languages. After graduation, Aman joined Webly, an eCommerce agency, where he worked as a Senior Web Developer and led projects for clients such as PC Jewellers, Magma Finance, and Riot Jeans. In 2014, he transitioned to CrunchCommerce, where he focused on frontend mobile development and was responsible for the complete mobile interface of the product. During CrunchCommerce's transition to Super, a mobile application solution for job hunting in India, Aman played a key role in implementing the Admin Console for the product, honing his skills in API development and object-oriented Javascript programming using AngularJS. Aman's experience also includes a stint at Browserstack, a SaaS product for testing websites and apps on different real devices. While at Browserstack, Aman ported old legacy components built-in jQuery to React and built core features for the Automate product, which runs test scripts to analyze website performance. He also built the entire Falcon product in React, which allows users to control and analyze local network traffic connecting with the Browserstack cloud machine. Additionally, Aman built the Speedlab product with the backend team, which enables users to test website performance and speed on real devices and receive a detailed analysis report. With 9.61 years of relevant experience in software engineering, web and mobile development, and UI testing, Aman is a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the tech stack. At PayPal, he leads the PPBL team as an Engineering Manager, leveraging his expertise to drive innovation and improve the user experience.
