Aman Sethi is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry, specifically in Cloud Services for IoT devices. Currently, he is working as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Amazon, where he is responsible for microservice development using Spring Boot and AWS. Aman has worked with different AWS components such as S3, DynamoDB, Elasticache, Lambda, and more to achieve scalability and availability for microservices. He is currently developing a big data pipeline using various AWS components such as Lambda, Kinesis Stream, Kinesis Analytics, Firehose, and ElasticSearch, along with ECS and Terraform scripts to find anomalies in the behavior of the IoT devices enrolled with the Cloud. Prior to Amazon, Aman worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung, where he designed and developed microservices for Samsung IoT Cloud Platform, enabling all Samsung and third-party devices to seamlessly communicate with each other. He also designed and implemented microservices using Spring Boot, MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and DynamoDB. Aman has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Jadavpur University, where he studied from 2012 to 2016. He has a strong technical background in Software Engineering, AWS, Microservices, Spring, Big Data, Spring Boot, Java, Research Scientist, ECS, Terraform, NoSQL, Cassandra, Mobile, CI/CD, MySQL, Elastic Search, and Jenkins.
