Aman Singh is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the higher education sector. He is currently the Co-Founder of GradRight, an ed-fin company focused on transforming global higher education financing using technology, data science, and collaboration. Aman's mission is to help a million students make rational and informed decisions about their universities and finances by 2025, and to aid them in pursuing their passion without unnecessary financial burden. Aman's core skills include the setup of new universities and colleges in India, general management, strategic marketing, and development, launch, and scale-up of new ideas in education. He has provided decisive consulting services in the setup of several universities, including Krea University in Andhra Pradesh, Plaksha University in Punjab, Khangchendzonga Buddhist University in Sikkim, Atria University in Karnataka, and the Indian School of Public Policy in New Delhi. Before co-founding GradRight, Aman worked as the Founding Project Director & Registrar of Ashoka University and the Founding Programme Director of the Young India Fellowship Programme. He has also served as Senior Manager of Corporate Strategy and Business Head at Anandabazar Patrika in Kolkata, Business Head at IYCWorld Soft-infrastructures in New Delhi, and Field Engineer (Drilling and Measurements) at Schlumberger Oilfield Services in Indonesia, Japan, Middle East, and the US. Aman holds a BTech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and an MBA in Strategic Marketing from the Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad. He is skilled in data science and infrastructure and has advised a large media house on the launch of a path-breaking edtech venture. Aman's past companies include Ren Projects, where he co-founded Sikkim's first private university for the minority community and India's first private Buddhist University called Khangchendzonga Buddhist University. He also crafted the most progressive Private University Act for KBU, designed and implemented India's most innovative admission and financial aid process for Krea University, facilitated the development of the concept and launch of Atria University in Bangalore, played a decisive role in the go-to-market and launch of the Plaksha Tech Leaders Fellowship Program that became a precursor for Plaksha University in Mohali, and anchored the development of the concept, launch, and creation of the founding class of Indian School of Public Policy in New Delhi.
