Aman Singhal is a highly skilled Backend and Data Engineer, currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Apple. With over 10 years of relevant experience, Aman has a deep understanding of distributed systems and data pipelines. He is a JVM technology enthusiast and is passionate about solving complex problems and building low latency scalable solutions. Currently, Aman is working at Visa, where he is responsible for designing and implementing a high-frequency transaction processing data pipeline. This includes collecting transactions, filtering, and notifying clients enrolled for the transactions. He is also optimizing the platform to achieve minimum latency and maximum throughput. Aman has expertise in Java, Python, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, Shell Scripting, MySQL, Hadoop, Pig, Hive, and Flume. Aman has previously worked at InMobi as a Software Engineer, where he developed backend and big data applications using Java/J2EE, microservices, Spring, Hibernate, Hadoop, Map-Reduce, Pig, Hive, Apache Falcon, Kafka, Flume, and Oozie. He has also deployed microservices in Docker containers with Kubernetes as the system for management and scaling. Before InMobi, Aman worked at Adobe as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. He was a full-stack developer, handling client-side using EmberJs and server-side using the Spring Framework.
