Aman Thakur is an experienced IT Analyst with expertise in DevOps, Cloud, Network, Servers, and Linux. He is currently working as a Platform Architect at Tata Consultancy Services, where he is responsible for installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions, updating software with the latest security patches, and ensuring proper defenses for each network resource. He also performs vulnerability and penetration tests, identifies and defends against threats, and develops disaster recovery plans. Aman is proficient in using various tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Slack, AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and Nagios for network monitoring. Prior to joining Tata Consultancy Services, Aman worked as an Information Technology Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric, where he used Container Platforms such as Docker and Container Orchestration such as Kubernetes as required by developers. He also configured network hardware such as servers, routers, and switches, managed and maintained a Fortinet firewall, and collaborated with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions. Aman has also worked as a System Administrator at Unipath Solutions, where he managed and maintained a Fortinet firewall, office 365, and ec2 instances on AWS, troubleshooted issues related to DNS, database server, domain controller, terminal server, exchange server, file server, SQL and PostgreSQL, and created & managed users and objects in the active directory. Aman holds a Master of Technology degree in System, Networking, database, software from Gujarat University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedbabd. He is proficient in using various technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Selenium, SQL, and Web infra.
