Aman Varma is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Java, C, C++, Python, Linux, and GitHub. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani). Currently, he works as a Member Of Technical Staff 3 at VMware, where he has received several awards and appreciations. Aman has worked for Hewlett Packard as a Software Engineer 3, where he contributed to product development and enhancements. He developed device-specific plugins for HPE products to comply with Power API specifications and built a tool to analyze performance and anomalies during simulations. He identified gaps in performance and anomalies during simulations and developed a new module to visualize the number of required hops for each packet without running the simulation, saving 6-7 hours per simulation run. Aman also added new code to support FAM architecture simulation on a more advanced simulator and made enhancements to the target selection mechanism of Random-Access application motif for the software. He led the team to integrate the acquired simulation-based product with the mainline HPE simulation product and mentored five new hires, training them on the system architecture and helping them ramp up quickly. As an intern at Walmart, Aman developed a fully automated testing application for the order life cycle manager component in the development environment. He also developed an application for end-to-end testing of the order life cycle manager in the QA environment.
