Amanda Lamont is a Talent Acquisition Lead at Zalando SE, with over 13 years of relevant experience in technology talent acquisition. She is an expert in fast-paced, international environments at scale, and excels in solving seemingly impossible puzzles. Amanda is a true business partner, who activates transformation by growing teams with diverse and inclusive perspectives for sustainable, healthy impact. She is currently the Talent Acquisition Lead for Zalando Outlets GmbH and Zalando Stores GmbH & Co.KG, where she leads a team of 10 members consisting of talent acquisition partners and leads for tech and commercial hiring. She is responsible for mentoring, onboarding, upskilling, and coaching the TA team. She also steers and strategizes action plans with VP/SVPs against roadmaps and delivery targets, advises and consults senior leadership in high impact and high-risk decision-making processes, and drives talent management through internal mobility and succession planning. Prior to her current role, Amanda was the Talent Acquisition Lead for Fulfillment Capabilities and Zalando Payments GmbH & Dortmund Tech Hub at Zalando. She led two talent acquisition teams and was responsible for driving talent management through internal mobility and succession planning, as well as driving initiatives around diversity for a well-balanced culture. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts (Postgraduate Honours) in Psychology from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology; Media & Writing from the University of Cape Town. Her tech stack includes AI, Senior Software Engineer, product manager, and infra.
