Amar Baranwal is a Senior Software Engineer at kipi.bi, with a passion for problem-solving and web development. He is currently pursuing a Master of Computer Applications degree, and aspires to become a data scientist. Amar's technical expertise includes Snowflake, SQL, Azure, Python, Kafka, Pandas, and Javascript, among others. He is also a Snowflake Snow Pro Core Certified professional. At kipi.bi, Amar has been involved in several key projects, including the conversion of complex MS SQL Server stored procedures to Snowflake SQL/Javascript stored procedures, establishing a connection between Kafka and Snowflake for an easy messaging system, and developing a stored procedure for migrating tables from one schema to another. He has also written the query generator for MS SQL Server and Snowflake for generating the MD5 values of all the rows of a particular table, and worked on a stored procedure to generate normal and fiscal calendars with multiple types. Amar has created dashboards on Snowsite according to user requirements, and designed wireframes to develop clean and purposeful UI for Tableau dashboard and Android App. Prior to his current role, Amar worked as a Software Engineer at kipi.bi, where he was responsible for cloud warehouse management using Snowflake, writing Python scripts using Pandas library to migrate data from SQL Server to Snowflake, and writing Snowflake scripts for cost tracking of resource monitors. He also worked as a Software Engineer Intern in 2020. Amar's education includes a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree from Teri P.G. College, Ghazipur, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Computer Applications degree from Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Management and Research. Overall, Amar has 1.11 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering, and is always eager to learn new things and work hard to bring out the best in himself.
