Amar Kumar is a highly skilled and result-oriented tech leader with over 10 years of experience in the industry. He has a strong background in coding and architecture design, as well as exceptional skills in requirement analysis. Amar has successfully built several products from scratch and scaled them for mass use. He has led multiple teams ranging in size from 2 to 15, delivering applications across modern tech stacks such as Go, NodeJS, and JavaScript. Currently, Amar is an Engineering Leader at gamechange, where he owns everything tech/engineering for Shopkey, from managing engineers at all levels to optimizing infrastructure and hands-on coding. He is also empowering social and chat selling for individual sellers and enterprise front-liners. Previously, Amar worked as a Staff Engineer at Finaccel, where he developed and migrated the Lender micro-service, helping to improve scale and faster development. He also integrated lender clients, including banks, with the lender service. At Circles.Life, Amar was a Senior Software Engineer, where he developed the Rewards micro-service from scratch as a platform to support Telco OS for the most disruptive digital telco in Singapore, now in Taiwan, Australia, and Japan. He also developed rewards and promotions features that enabled Marketing and International Launch teams with hyper-growth in new and existing markets. Amar holds a B.Tech in Information Technology from MNNIT, where he graduated in 2012. He is proficient in several modern tech stacks, including JavaScript, NodeJS, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, infra, Microservices, and Golang. Amar is passionate about personal finance and is always looking for ways to improve his skills and knowledge in this area.
