Amar Thakur is a software engineer with over 7 years of industry experience, specializing in microservices and Android front-end development. He has worked with several companies, including Jio, ABM Knowledgeware, and Capgemini, where he has developed various applications and worked on machine learning technologies for customer experience. At Jio, Amar worked on building India's first telecommunication virtual assistant named HelloJio and developed the back-end system in Spark, Spring Boot, and Python. He also worked on the MyJio app development team, which handled more than 400 million customers. At ABM, he worked on developing end-to-end applications for various Municipal Corporations across India. At Capgemini, he worked on a TechMobile app development team in Charter Communication, where he developed a POC for assessing the damage levels on vehicles using deep learning and generating quotations for the damaged parts. Amar's expertise includes text classification, NLP/NLU, real-time data streaming using Kafka, Elasticsearch/Kibana, and deploying On-Device Android ML applications. He possesses excellent debugging skills and has experience in deploying microservices in Kubernetes using Docker containers.
