Amarnath Bysani is a highly experienced IT professional who has spent over 26 years in the industry. He currently serves as a Partner in Risk Consulting at PwC, where he specializes in Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and Service Delivery. He has a strong background in Managed Security Services Leadership, MSS Security Solution Architecture, Cybersecurity SME, Global SOC, and Information Security roles. Amarnath has designed and implemented large-scale Data Protection, compliance, and Information Security initiatives throughout his career. He is well-versed in Privacy and Data Protection practices in the development, engineering, deployment, and auditing of IT products and services. He has a deep understanding of European and national privacy laws, the European model for privacy enforcement, and US Private sector laws and regulations. With his strong Program, Budget, and Stakeholder management skills, Amarnath has successfully led several projects and initiatives throughout his career. He is a Fellow of Information Privacy, PMP, CRISC, CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, and CIPM. Prior to joining PwC, Amarnath served as Managing Director at Accenture, where he helped clients understand cyber risks to their high-value business assets and develop robust cybersecurity strategies. He also worked as an Assistant Manager at UST, where he was responsible for developing the test strategy migration project using an automated tool that the company had contracted with an external vendor. He liaised with the external vendor to resolve defects and coached key team members to handle issues by debugging the converted code to reduce lead times instead of waiting for the vendor to resolve. Amarnath holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Bangalore University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Management from Rastreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering. He also earned a PUC in Science from National College.
