I lead Singlewire's Project Management Office and own the development of our official project management and software development processes and practices. My focus is on empowering our amazing team of engineers and infusing the right agile development, innovation, cultural, and industry-wide best practices into our daily routines.

•	Managed the Residential Energy Efficiency tribe, a scaled agile program with ten, globally-distributed scrum teams that predictably delivered platform technologies and software-as-a-service (SaaS) for Opower’s highest revenue-generating products such as Home Energy 
Reports (HER and eHER) and Behavioral Demand Response (BDR)

• Led the NGS adoption of agile practices by establishing and driving the agile transformation team, organizing executive, product, and developer training, hiring scrum coaches, and communicating with sponsors, including the Chief Financial and Chief Technology Officers
• Steered three, long-term troubled projects to successful completion within five months of beginning work at National Geographic
• Directed concurrent projects through their entire lifecycles (schedule, risk, communication, re-source, scope, cost, and quality management) to support 20 million website visitors per month, enhance the video experience, database, and marketing capabilities, and provide single sign-on
• Analyzed and negotiated hundreds of requirements with cross-society customers, including technology, marketing, the National Geographic Magazine, TV Channel and external partners
• Presented project status and negotiated changes with all levels of management, including C-Suite executives

Out of 5500 applications, I was among the first 100 IBMer chosen to work in a developing country for a month.  I worked with the African Wildlife Foundation on a project aimed at helping 8 rural communities lift themselves out of poverty.
•	Accepted into the IBM Corporate Service Corps, a highly competitive leadership and international learning program where participants study, then live in an emerging market on global teams consulting for non-profits on projects of great social and economic importance
•	Produced an eco-lodge business plan for the African Wildlife Foundation in Tanzania, whose profits support the development needed to lift eight, rural communities out of poverty
•	Studied Tanzanian culture, Swahili, developing country economics, corporate social responsibility, and global teaming for three months in preparation for work in Tanzania
•	Coordinated meetings and speakers for 24 IBM employees’ CSC preparation exercises
•	Created videos and presentations on CSC for IBM teams, executives, and news media
•	Led the architecture of an information-gathering system to house CSC information necessary for IBM to successfully work and collaborate with people in all emerging markets
