Prior to this, she worked as a Full Stack Developer at Airbnb and Altimetrik, where she was responsible for developing and maintaining payments internal tooling systems for transactions across the globe. Amber has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Software Engineering from HBTU Kanpur, where she gained a solid foundation in software engineering principles and practices. She is highly skilled in Java, Redux, Elastic Search, Backend, Apache Hive, MySQL, Spark, Apache Airflow, test, Javascript, ui, and Python. With 3.78 years of relevant experience, Amber has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of her clients. At Airbnb, Amber was responsible for building tools for tracking the entire lifecycle of a transaction depicting money movement in & out of Airbnb to help CS agents provide a superior experience to Airbnb customers. She also maintained daily data and bulk transaction pipelines for registering platform events triggered through Airbnb website across the globe. She developed services to aggregate data fetched from events generated by processors and wrote services for initiating proof and trace for transactions in case of discrepancies. Her tooling platforms were built using React, Hyperdux (Redux) using REST APIs to connect to the presentation service that connects to other downstream services. Backend of the application was developed using JAVA, Dropwizard, Thrift IDL, Powergrid which covers the aggregating and write service in the architecture. Pipeline configurations were built using Hive QL and python scripts to register platform events in ElasticSearch clusters.
