Ameen M is a Senior Engineering Manager/Engineering Head with over 10 years of relevant experience. He is currently working with athena health as a Senior Engineering Manager and is responsible for managing multiple projects related to Java, Springboot, Hibernate, Microservices, MySQL, Docker, and GCP. Ameen has a proven track record of delivering multiple projects in various domains such as PayPal application, Security (SSL&SSO), Infrastructure, and Site Reliability Engineering. Before joining athena health, Ameen worked with PayPal as an Engineering Manager where he formed a new engineering division from scratch which currently includes 4 teams and 16 members. He was responsible for appraisal evaluation, promotions management, recruiting, talent development, audit, project roadmap, OKR definition, Epic definition, Capacity planning, BURP meeting, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies. Ameen has also worked with Wethink as Head Technology Operations, IIT Madras where he was responsible for requirement gathering, HLD planning, choosing technological stacks, database designing, code planning, coding, testing, deployment, and continuous integration on Amazon web services, maintenance, and support for the product. Ameen is a flexible professional who enjoys learning new skills and serving with zeal & vigor in an organization that fosters growth and provides opportunities for improvement. He is a product manager, software engineer, and has experience in CI/CD, infra, test, Redis, Kubernetes, Integration, Web, Amazon Athena, MongoDB, Hadoop, Jenkins, and UI. Ameen holds a B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Velammal Institute of Technology. He is looking for opportunities in Middle East/Europe/UK and believes that his accomplishments speak for themselves more than his years of experience.
