Amey Bhavsar is a highly motivated and passionate computer science student with a strong interest in web development. As a Software Engineer Intern at Tessact, he is responsible for building frontend components and interfaces for business-facing media tools. Prior to this, he served as the Technical Lead at GDSC SLRTCE, where he conducted workshops and hackathons and built a tech community of amazing people across the world. He has also mentored students to get started with web development from scratch and conducted events such as quiz or development competitions on the same as the Web Development Lead at Shree L. R. Tiwari College of Engineering. Amey has experience working with a variety of technologies, including React.js, Redux, Redux-Toolkit, Material UI, Node.js, MongoDB, PHP, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Heroku. He is an active open-source contributor and regularly writes code for JavaScript libraries and full-stack MERN projects. In addition, Amey is a passionate competitive programmer and often participates in online programming contests on platforms like Codeforces, AtCoder, and Codechef, where he has achieved ratings of 1444 (specialist), 1821 (4 Star), and 689, respectively. Apart from building projects and solving coding problems, Amey is also a beginner at technical writing on topics ranging from bots to the latest trends in the software industry to startups. He has been part of various communities such as Google DSC, Entrepreneurship Cell, Student Council Technical Committee, and SLRTCE Incubation Cell. Amey is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, which he is expected to complete in December 2023. He also holds a Higher Secondary Certificate in Science + CS from Sathaye College, Mumbai, and has completed his 9.6 from Santhome Public School. Overall, Amey is a talented and driven software engineer with a diverse skill set and a passion for learning and growth.
